Education - Children
Helping children come close to God to discover who God is, who we are, and what it means to be a part of God’s Story and community of Faith.
Welcome to Story Quest!
Are you ready for an adventure of a lifetime? Children, guides (teachers and assistants), and parents are invited on a journey through God’s Story - exploring what God has to say to us, each in a way that God made us!

Jan-Mar, Love Rules All - Jesus said, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has chosen me to bring good news…” Jesus did not have much use for customs and rules – social customs and etiquette, ethnic constraints, religious rules, money influence. He was not fazed by people questioning his ideas. There was only one “rule” he lived by – “to love God with all our being and to love our neighbors as ourselves.”
Mar 31-Apr 14, “Jesus and What God is Doing” - As we prepare for the Easter, we will Remember through the Last Supper, Celebrate with the waving of palms, and Worship because of what God has done through Easter.
1st - 4th Grade
Sundays, 10:00am, Rooms 203. Go to Worship first - we will be dismissed to class after the Time With Children.
From the beginning to the promise of a Messiah, this winter we will be making our way through some of the New Testament stories to see what we can discover about God, ourselves, and the people of the Bible. We begin with the coming of Jesus, and continue with stories from his life and interactions with people he met along his journey.
Along the way we’ll learn about prayer and experience prayer in a variety of ways. How do we talk with God? We’ll learn some new songs that help us with the story and we will be learning more about how to use and read our Bibles. And, as always, the kids help us tell the story.
Crossroads: An Older Elementary/Middle School Question Study
Sundays, 10:00am, in Room 205
Remember when you were little and you were so curious that used to ask “Why, why, why…?” Maybe you don’t, but your parents do! For some reason, we don’t do that as much, but why? Are we not curious anymore? Do we not still have questions about life, about growing up, about the world around us? This year, let’s have some fun asking questions! With goofy videos, a weird anti-workbook, and a group of strange friends and guides, let’s tackle some serious questions and see what we learn. In 2019, you can choose which questions from the anti-workbook you’d like to tackle with the group. Keep asking why!
Jan-Jun, Your Choice - It’s your turn to choose the questions we will discuss. From the anti-workbook, the kids will choose which questions they would like to tackle.
