O come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise! For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods. -Psalm 95:1-3
Faith United Methodist Church maintains a strong, traditional music ministry that involves people of all ages. Whether you are six years old or 96, we have a place for you! For all our musical ensembles, previous musical experience is not required, and church membership is not necessary.
Music at Faith serves to enhance the worship services and life of the church. We also seek to enrich the musical and spiritual lives of those who participate with us as well as to share with our greater community.

Tickets will be sold in the coming weeks for $10 each, and a “high tea” will be served! Come join the fun—an opportunity to donate your very own chime (for use by Bells of Faith) will be available, along with other surprises! Contact Nancy Kuhn at NKuhn@jackscamp.com .
Final Benefit Concert for CMR
June 2, 2018, 7:30pm
Our final benefit concert for Community Ministries of Rockville is Saturday, June 2 at 7:30pm in the Sanctuary. If you would like to join the Chancel Choir in one of the major pieces for that program, we will start working on Mozart’s Regina Coeli at the beginning of Thursday rehearsals, 8 p.m. in the Sanctuary. The other major work anchoring our June 2 program is the Stravinsky Soldier’s Tale.
Most importantly, please invite your friends, your family, your neighbors, and your colleagues. Celebrating how important music is to our community, and how it helps build community, are the side benefits of creating this series that also helps a partner organization in our area to serve those in greatest need.
Open to adults and older youth. Rehearses 8:00-9:30pm, Thursdays
The Chancel Choir leads our 10:00am Sunday worship service weekly, September through mid-June. Additionally, the choir plans some special music throughout the year.
